Bailey Autograph + New Caravans and Motorhomes to Watch out for in 2020

New Motorhomes for 2020

We’re excited to tell you about these fabulous new touring motorhomes. We’ve mentioned some of our favourite features and if one pops out, take a closer look and get ready to roll.

Bailey Autograph

The new Bailey Autograph is the third generation of this inspired motorhome. It comes in eight different layouts for you to choose from. Most are variations of previous versions, for example;

69-2 (was 68-2)
74-2 (was 75-2)
74-4 (was 75-4)
79-4I (was 79-4)
81-6 (was 79-6). 

The new rollout also includes two new Autograph models: 79-2F and 79-4F. These brand new Autographs boast rear travel seats, the option of an L-shape front lounge or parallel seat, a transverse-end washroom, and a fixed double bed.

All Autographs models boast:

• 2.28 meter (7 feet, 6 inches) for the internal body width 
• Newest Peugeot Boxer 2.9 Blue HDi, 160 bhp engine with six-speed manual gearbox
• Captain seats that swivel with dual-upholstered armrests
• Air-conditioning
• Chassis with a low centre of gravity to help road holding and braking
• Peugeot Sat Nav
• Engine cruise control

The Autograph 81-6 and 69-2 have a longer body, allowing more seat length for end lounges that can double as a bed.

Models with end lounges and bedrooms also have a rear through-boot. 

Autograph Style

Get ready to adventure in style — whether going to Cambridgeshire for a spot of fishing or to a holiday park in Cornwall for the views. All models feature gorgeous Mendip Ash finishes with new cabinetry and furniture, Italian-design overhead locker doors, chrome fittings, marble-finish counters, LED task and ambient lights, an ergonomic kitchen, and so much more to make your ride elegant and comfortable.

Knaus LIVE 1

This A-class motorhome is an entry-level model. You have two layouts to choose from: 650 MEG and 700 MEG.

Both Knaus Live models boast:

• Fiat Ducato 3,500 kg chassis
• Up to six berths
• Extendable dinette table
• Swivel cab seats
• Forward-facing bench
• Jump seat
• All-in-one washroom
• 142-litre fridge

The washroom and kitchen locations are opposite between the two models. The location of the washroom in the 700 MEG gives it more room so that it also has a cubicle for a shower.

You can also get a 177-litre fridge with the 700 MEG thanks to the added space.

The Knaus Style

The outside of both models features Knaus’ signature black, grey, and blue design.

Swift Motorhomes

Swift has two motorhomes on deck for 2020.

The Edge caters to families but is great for couples wanting a roomy design.

The Kon Tiki Sport is just that — sporty, stylish, and efficient. It too can fit larger families with the bigger models.

Swift Edge

This new motorhome by Swift boasts a fresh new modern design in both low and high-line models and five layouts. The smaller models sleep two, the middle-size four, and the biggest model up to six. 

Swift Edge features include:

Swift Kon-Tiki Sport

The new launch by Swift for 2020 is their most highly appointed stylish motorhome in this price tier and comes in 13 layouts to choose from!

It’s light and aerodynamic, making a fuel-saving, streamlined wonder when you hit the road. The exterior design looks terrific and refined too with the Black Edition graphics. Meanwhile, the interior living space is elegant, comfy, and convenient with high-end, energy-efficient fixtures and features.

This one is ideal for those of you that like travel in style and comfort on the road. The different layouts feature everything from drop-down beds to rear-wrap seating to side kitchens to mid kitchens with front dinettes. Pick what you need!

New Caravans for 2020

Start your touring journey with a new caravan. On deck for 2020 are new caravans by Bailey, Coachman, and Swift.

Bailey Caravans

Enjoy two new lines of caravans by Bailey on deck for 2020.

The Discovery caravan is a fantastic option if you’re new to touring and buying your first caravan. The Alicanto Grande is terrific for bigger families or if you want more space.

Bailey Discovery

This new caravan by Bailey is lightweight and comes in three models, the D4-2, D4-3, and D4-4. Great for first-time buyers, you can choose from the one, two, or three-berth layouts.

The Discovery has a more rounded front than most other caravans to make it more aerodynamic and save you on petrol. 

Discovery caravan features include:

• Bailey’s signature Alu-Tech construction
• Oven and grill combined plus three-burner hob
• USB ports with fabric holders on walls
• Sprung seats
• Elegant grey upholstery with mustard highlights
• Exterior wrap awning
• Truma Combi heating

The two-berth and three-berth models have an offside combined toilet-shower room, while the four-berth has a full-width back shower. The three-berth boasts a nice lounge that converts into a double bed and front seats that convert into a single. 

Bailey Alicanto Grande

Launching in 2020 is the new Alicanto Grande eight-foot-wide caravan line with three layouts and the choice of twin or single axles. Enjoy more space if you’re going for a long tour or want a roomier ride for a bigger family or group.

This has higher specs that other Bailey caravans, making it the flagship for Bailey.

Alicanto Grande features include:

• Alu-Tech bodyshell construction
• Programmable radiator and water heating
• Double-hinge refridgerators
• Plush deep-pile carpet
• Premium features 
• Curved-corner backrests 
• Bespoke bedding and removable headrests
• L-shape kitchens

The Sinatra layout has a traverse island bed with a rear shower while the Porto has a rear traverse bed with a shower in the middle. The Estriol has twin beds with the shower in the back.

Coachman Acadia

Coachman is unveiling 10 new Acadia caravan models boasting the usual comfort and luxury that Coachman is known for. 

New Acadia caravan features include:

• BBQ gas points on the outside
• Extra security with a one-key lock system and single-piece door
• Wet centre heat and water that you can program
• Five-year antifreeze system for the heat and water system
• Electric-flush swivel toilet 
• Aerodynamic body
• Panoramic roof window that goes full-width
• Light and easy-lift bed frames

The elegant design includes French oak flooring, beautiful deep-pile carpets, Midi Heki roof lighting, a chest of drawers that’s nicely contoured and includes a slide-out table, soft-close blinds, and much more.

Swift Caravans

For 2020, Swift has 10 new models to choose from. They’re all eight-foot-wide caravans.

The new models add to current ranges: Sprite Super, Challenger X, Eccles X, and Elegance Grande.

Elegance Grande 850

The Swift brand has introduced its new 850 with its Elegance Grande range eight-foot-wide caravan. 

The 850 boats an L-shaped lounge, central washroom, and rear island bed. The 850 is added to the Elegance Grande fleet that includes the 835 and 845. Like the others and the Elegance caravan range, the new 850 boasts timberless construction.

Sprite Super Quattro EB

This is another eight-foot-wide caravan and has a twin axle. The new EB includes parallel lounge seats, a central shower, and a comfortable back bedroom. 

The design features a fresh tartan-inspired look in its fabric in 2020 on curtains, cushions, seating, buttons, backrests, headboards, and panels.

Challenger X and Eccles X

There are two new Challenger models and two new Eccles. All four have four berths.

There is a new single-axle Challenger and Eccles — the 865 and 880. The 865 has parallel lounge seating and twin beds. The 880 has a full-width back washroom and a traverse island bed. 

There is also a new twin-axle Challenger and Eccles — the 835 and 850. The 835 features a traverse bed in the back bedroom and a separate shower and washroom in the middle.  The 850 has a central washroom and shower, an L-shaped lounge, and a back island bedroom.
